Michelle Richardson

Joined Drax in 2004

Working within a small HR team, the role is challenging and the autonomy it brings is very rewarding.

Reporting to the Head of HR, Michelle is involved in developing HR policy in accordance with the needs of the business, developments in law and trade union agreements. Michelle also provides operational HR support for employee relations activity.

After completing her Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management in 2007, Michelle has furthered her experience in a variety of HR areas including recruitment and selection, training and development and employee relations. Michelle also enjoys playing an active role in project work managing the e-recruitment project ‘go-live’ with the aim of delivering administration efficiencies, reducing recruitment advertising costs, and improving the candidate experience through an intuitive online application portal.
